M1 Goalkeeping Brings Specialized Training to Central Alberta

M1 Goalkeeping was proud to bring specialized goalkeeper training to Central Alberta, where Coach Lindsay Kitson and Coach Jana Lesk led training sessions with athletes from Ponoka Storm and Red Deer Renegades.

The visit provided an opportunity to share knowledge, build relationships, and support the continued development of goalkeepers outside the Edmonton area. Throughout the sessions, athletes worked on key aspects of the position, including technical fundamentals, footwork, positioning, shot-stopping, and decision-making in game-like situations.

More importantly, the sessions created an environment where goalkeepers could challenge themselves, build confidence, and learn from experienced coaches who are passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field.

At M1 Goalkeeping, we're committed to making high-quality goalkeeper coaching accessible to communities across Alberta. Collaborating with clubs such as Ponoka Storm and Red Deer Renegades allows us to share our coaching philosophy, strengthen the goalkeeper community, and help more athletes reach their full potential.

We'd like to thank the players, coaches, and families for the warm welcome and the opportunity to be part of their development. We look forward to building new relationships and continuing to support goalkeeper growth throughout Alberta.

We are M1.
